At 300,000 sf, the scheme will be the largest office project ever developed in Uxbridge. Under the masterplan by Fitzroy Robinson, the scheme will feature buildings ranging in size from 40,000 to 95,000 sf.
Historically known as 100 Acres, the Sanderson site has a prominent frontage to the M40 motorway and is also bounded by the Sands River and the Grand Union Canal. Demolition of the Sanderson factory will start next month with construction of the first 95,000-sf speculative phase expected to begin in Autumn 2002.
Strutt & Parker and FPDSavills are joint letting agents.
At the same time, Arlington has been granted detailed planning permission for a headquarters building of 99,250 sf at its Theale business park near Reading, Berkshire. The space will be made available either on a conventional full repairing and insuring lease or through the Arlington Total Workspace Solution which includes a core facilities management package. Again, Strutt & Parker and FPDSavills are joint letting agents.
