Having nearly doubled in size within the last two years, AGSK is the fourth largest law firm in Los Angeles County of those firms with one office. Upon move-in this July, AGSK will be the largest law firm in Santa Monica. "We knew when Stein & Kahan and Alschuler Grossman & Pines joined forces in 1999 to form Alschuler Grossman Stein & Kahan that it would be a law firm marriage made in heaven," says partner Larry Stein.
AGSK is relocating from Century City's Twin Towers. AGSK had both in-house and out-sourced representation in the transaction. In addition to law firm partners Jim Richman and Bill Small, Hunt Barnett and Clay Hammerstein from Insignia ESG and Joel Kurtz at Bailes & Associates also worked on the deal. Representing Turner were Robert Chavez and Carol Roth of The Staubach Company.
