Law Firm Signs 85,000-SF Office Sublease

LOS ANGELES-Alschuler Grossman Stein & Kahan signs a 10-year sublease valued at $30 million for space in Water Garden that will make it the largest law firm in Santa Monica. Occupancy is set for July.

LOS ANGELES-Los Angeles law firm Alschuler Grossman Stein & Kahan is making a new home for itself in Santa Monica’s Water Garden. The firm signed a 10-year sublease with Turner Broadcasting for 85,000 sf in the building. The deal is valued at $30 million.

Having nearly doubled in size within the last two years, AGSK is the fourth largest law firm in Los Angeles County of those firms with one office. Upon move-in this July, AGSK will be the largest law firm in Santa Monica. “We knew when Stein & Kahan and Alschuler Grossman & Pines joined forces in 1999 to form Alschuler Grossman Stein & Kahan that it would be a law firm marriage made in heaven,” says partner Larry Stein.
