Case reunites at CB Richard Ellis with former Insignia/ESG colleagues Bart Matheney and David Putman. She will, of course, focus on asset management issues.

"Heather Case provides us with a dimension of senior property experience that we have not enjoyed in the recent past," says Jerry Frey, the firm's managing director in Austin, who has said in the past that he's looking to beef up the team. Case, he adds, will do more than add a new dimension to the senior property level. "Heather's background and skills are very complementary to my personal expertise," he said. "She will be a true partner with me and will be involved with every aspect of our local operations, including both strategic and tactical issues."

Matheney joined CB Richard Ellis at the beginning of the year as a senior vice president of it building owner services group. Putman also works in Matheney's services group.

Case was with Insignia/ESG in Houston and Austin for 12 years and worked in increasingly responsible management positions. In her last post, she was responsible for property management and construction management of a portfolio of more than two million sf in Austin. She has managed more than 1.2 million sf of tenant and base building construction, totaling more than $6.2 million in hard costs. In Houston with Insignia/ESG, she oversaw more than 3.2 million sf.
