JDS Uniphase only took the facility, made up of units 1-5 on the Oxford Industrial Park, in July 2000 when it agreed a rent of £6.25 ($8.80) per sf. As part of the consent to the assignment, Brixton has obtained a six month rent deposit from the incoming occupier.
The Oxford Industrial Park totals over 170,000 sf, and the 50,000-sf Phase 2 of is currently available to let through FPDSavills and Jones Lang LaSalle.
