Dilworth has more than 30 years of experience in management and real estate.

Previously active in state and local government, Dilworth was instrumental in the establishment of the Michigan State Housing Development Authority. He earned bachelor's and masters' degrees from Wayne State University, and the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation.

The Michigan chapter's other recently-elected 2002 officers include Kenneth Lipschutz of Brookside Realty Advisors in Birmingham to vice president; Steven Morris of GVA Strategis in Southfield to treasurer; and David Smies of Grand Real Estate in Grand Rapids to secretary.
