Two Semiconductor Firms Positioning for Growth

AUSTIN-InTime Software Inc. of California has decided it's time to join the Austin semiconductor trade. The newcomer heads to the northwest submarket. Meanwhile, AMD is considering a boost in its Austin presence.

AUSTIN-A semiconductor company has opened an Austin office and another may be looking for more space after its acquisition by Advanced Micro Devices Inc.

The Austin newcomer is InTime Software Inc., based in Cupertino, CA. It’s taking 2,500 sf at 6850 Austin Centre Blvd. in the northwest submarket. Workers in the office will sell and support InTime’s software used in the design of computer chips. The company also opened a sales and support office in Westborough, MA.
