The financial concern moved into its new Madison Heights location at the beginning of the year. The warehouse is near other ABN AMRO facilities, allowing for more expedient communications between offices. The newly acquired space is at the former site of the International Paper Co.

Both ABN AMRO and the former tenant share similar usage of the space, which made every aspect of the physical transition progress smoothly, says Geoff Hill, senior vice president at Grubb & Ellis.

"Everything that ABN AMRO needed, including proper shelving, was already inplace," he adds.
