Developers' Bet on New Neighborhood Pays Off

DENVER-The $29.3-million, 94-unit WaterTower Lofts is the first multifamily complex in the Prospect neighborhood near Coors Field, but city investment in infrastructure is expected to spur more development in the area close to Downtown.

DENVER-Gart Properties and Buchanan Yonushewski Group have opened their $29.3-million, 94-unit WaterTower Lofts, the first housing complex in the fledgling Prospect neighborhood near Coors Field. So far, 74 of the units have been sold.

“Our residents are among the pioneers of Denver’s newest community, and everyone is very excited to begin living in this Downtown Denver neighborhood,” says Mark Sidell, president of Gart Properties. “Prospect Neighborhood and the Central Platte Valley have evolved into an important part of Denver’s great urban lifestyle, and we’re pleased to be the most recent addition to the community.”

“It’s exciting to see the Prospect neighborhood come to life as the flurry of activity on the streets changes from construction to people moving into their new homes,” adds architect Brad Buchanan of Buchanan Yonushewski Group. “We’re proud to be a part of the rebirth of an historical area of the city.”
