Speaking to GlobeSt.com, ACPT's Craig Renner says the transaction, "is part of the ongoing process of developing St. Charles, and I think [Richards and Sons] is going to be an important part of it." Richards and sons has not disclosed the exact time when it will move its base to the new location, but notes that the company would like to do so as quickly as possible. Piney Reach is just one portion of the multi-faceted, 9,100-acre St. Charles master planned community. "We've probably developed half of it," Renner says. Upon completion in 2035, St. Charles is expected to be home to a population of 65,000 residents.
