The three-storey office building was developed by the Prudential as the first phase of its Forum development on the Solent Business park, where it has consent for 590,640 sf in 12 buildings. Encouraged by the success of Forum One, the Pru is now working up plans for a further speculative building of 45,790 sf.
Martin Hastelow, director of King Sturge, joint letting agent with Knight Frank said: 'Prudential agreed with the locally held belief that the market was under supplied with first class large office buildings and that the market existed for Forum One. Their confidence in South Hampshire has been rewarded with this letting which was agreed despite an uncertain economic climate.'
