The 141,793-sf Landmark Inn was built in 1995 and was purchased in 1998 by the Cherry Creek Investment Group LLC, according to public records reviewed by GlobeSt.com. The Alliance Hospitality group of Dallas created the LLC.

''Holiday Inn Select Denver-Cherry Creek will be especially appealing to business travelers staying in Denver and meeting planners who need to arrange corporate functions and events,'' says Ellie Driver, director of sales and marketing for thehotel. ''Our convenient, centralized location just south of downtown provides easy access to all that Denver has to offer.''

She says while the hotel is designed primarily for business travelers, it also will appeal to the leisure market.

''We will offer executive-class rooms, Euro-style dining, a professional business center and concierge services on select floors,'' Driver says. Other amenities: a fitness center, martini bar and lounge, indoor pool and whirlpool, deli and espresso bar, car rental desk, hair salon and late-night room service.

In addition to the Holiday Inn Select, Alliance also owns the 162-room Holiday Inn and Dinner Theater in Venice, FL, and 204-room Doubletree Club Hotel at Park Central in Dallas.

Alliance specializes in repositioning of full-service hotels through strategic acquisitions, renovations, rebranding and management restructuring.
