Hove Gets New Mixed-Use Development

LONDON-Sussex-based development company Cuckfield Group has secured detailed planning permission for the 200,000-sf City Park development adjacent to Hove Park.

LONDON-The approved £65 million ($92 million) City Park development in Hove,Sussex, is mixed-use, comprising more than 200,000 sf of office space, on-site/underground parking, residential housing and day nursery facilities. Completion of the office facility at City Park, which has been designed by architect David Richmond & Partners, is expected in early 2003.

Cuckfield Group intends speculatively to build some 80,000 sf straight away at City Park, making this the first speculative development of its size in Brighton for more than 10 years. It has appointed Brighton-based Stiles Harold Williams and Knight Frank’s London West End office as agents.
