"We will be upgrading the common areas, installing new mechanical systems and adding six units to the building and will begin planning for development on the adjacent parking lot," says Kauri President Kent Angier. "We see the current climate as an excellent opportunity to grow our portfolio."

Originally built in 1917, The Park Seneca Apartments is currently 90 percent occupied. Kauri Investments, founded in 1987, is known for renovation, conversion and property management. One recently completed Kauri project is Main Street Condominiums, which are 90% sold. The company also has two condominium projects under construction, Lake Union View at 41st and Aurora Avenue and Avalon at 3015 SW Avalon Way in West Seattle.
