The medical transcription firm plans to consolidate its current offices, which are located in San Fernando Valley and Orange County, into the recently leased Santa Ana facility. The property is located at 801 N. Parkcenter Dr.
MedQuist was represented by Jack McNutt of Grubb & Ellis, along with Jeff Lipson of Stone Co. Steve Ehrich of Charles Dunn Co. acted on behalf of the building owner, Passco Real Estate Enterprises Inc.
According to a recent report by Delta Associates, the county's office vacancy rate is expected to increase above the current level of 14.4% in the near term. Occupancy is not predicted to pick up until the latter half of 2002, when the national economy is expected to strengthen.
