Novavax selected Burns Mechanical Inc. of Horsham, PA, on a fast-track design and build basis for the project, to be located within the PCI plant at 3001 Red Lion Rd. here. Burns leads a design team comprised of Jacobs Wyper Architects of Philadelphia, PA, W.B. Moore Inc. of Easton, PA and RPA Associates Inc. of Reading, PA. Certified Facilities Corporation of Seattle, WA will provide validation service.

Once completed, PCI will produce and package Novavax's estrogen replacement lotion Estrasorb, which is intended for the treatment of hot flushes associated with menopause. The manufacturing site will consist of two bulk manufacturing suites, housing two high speed bottling suites and a high speed pouching suite. The location will also have raw material storage tanks that automatically fill the mixing devices as well as a fully operational Quality Control and Quality Assurance lab.
