"It's a real honor," Hahn, who has been a member of the panel for two years, tells GlobeSt.com. "I'm pleasantly surprised."
The panel consists of 15 members who represent sectors of the San Antonio economy. The file reports on their areas of expertise, which are compiled into quarterly reports that are made public and monthly reports for internal use by the chamber.
Panel members from the city's real estate community include Hahn, representing retail; Lucy Cockrell of Cockrell Partners, multifamily; and Kim Gatley of REOC Partners, office buildings.
Other sectors represented on the panel are energy, telecommunications, residential real estate, water, utilities, agriculture and urban planning. An economist from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas' San Antonio branch also is a member of the panel.
