$60M Resort Hotel Near DIA in Works

DENVER-The 350-room hotel operated by Hilton would be the only resort property near Denver International Airport, despite eventual competition from a 500-room Westin Hotel. The Hilton property, which also could be expanded to 500 rooms, will include an 18-hole golf course.

DENVER-Flintco Inc. plans a $60-million-plus resort-style hotel near Denver International, the first of its kind near the airport. Flintco, which is headquartered in Oklahoma, is the largest North American Indian firm in the country, with annual revenues of more than $300 million.

It was founded in 1908.

The hotel initially will have 350 rooms, but can be expanded to 500, says Mike Sesko, district manger of the Colorado office for Sesko.
