Santa Clara County Leases 290,000 SF

SAN JOSE-The Riverpark Corporate Center will gain a new tenant this April, when the County of Santa Clara moves its social services operation into 290,000-sf space it has leased from the Sobrato Cos.

SAN JOSE-The County of Santa Clara has leased 290,000-sf in Riverpark Corporate Center in downtown San Jose, which it plans to fill with its social services agency in April of this year. The county signed a 20-year lease with a starting full-service rate of $2.45 per sf per month.

The county will take space in Buildings One and Two of the 460,000-sf office complex owned by Cupertino, Calif.-based Sobrato Cos. Staubach Commercial Real Estate brokers Craig McGahey, Robin Eve-Jasper and Nate Bray represented the county.
