When a federal jury in December 2000 found her and former colleague Jerry Burch guilty of the SEC charges, Yun's net worth was $3.6 million, according to court records.

U.S. District Judge Ann Aldrich in Tampa, FL has ordered Yun and Burch to repay the government $269,000, Burch's alleged profit on Scholastic Corp. stock he purchased in 1997 on an alleged tip from Yun.

Yun's husband is David Yun who retired as president of Scholastic Book Fairs in 1999. Scholastic Book Fairs is a Lake Mary, FL-based subsidiary of New York-based Scholastic Corp. David Yun is not involved in the SEC charges.
