CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD-Prince George's County's Hampton Overlook office/flex space complex and Hampton South Business Centre warehouse have been sold to the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust in a $12.4 million transaction. Together, the two properties offer 238,000 sf of space. The properties' seller, Advent Realty Limited Partnership II, relied upon NA KLNB for its representation in the deal.

Hampton Overlook, which commanded $6.9 million, is a three-building property that accounts for a total 135,000, sf of space. Advent purchased the complex ten years ago for $4.8 million. Hampton South offers 103,000 sf of space and sold for $5.5 million. “We lucked into the timing,” NAI KLNB's Alan Coppola tells GlobeSt.com. “We put them on the market in the summer, and industrial started to heat up in the fall. That market had experienced a lot of vacancies in the last five years, but things have tightened up to a single digit number.”
