Inland Revenue Takes Leeds Office Pre-Letting

LEEDS-Developer Munroe K has started construction of a new 25,000-sf office building at the White Rose Office Park, pre-let to the Inland Revenue. 72,000 sf has now been let at the park in the past nine months.

LEEDS-Developer Munroe K has started construction on a third building at its 27-acre White Rose Office Park located three miles south west of Leeds city centre. The 25,000-sf building has been let to the Inland Revenue on a 15-year lease at £16.45 ($23.50) per sf. This deal follows lettings to Consignia and Sodexho, 72,000 sf has been let at White Rose since June 2001.

Director of Munroe K, Paul Harding, said: ‘With the strength of the Leeds office market showing no signs of wavering, we are confident of letting further space this year. We have already begun the £1.5 million enabling works for our 100,000-sf headquarters building at the front of White Rose so that construction work will be ready to proceed this summer.’
