SAN FRANCISCO-Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker LLP has occupied the top six floors of 55 Second Street, a new 26-story, 374,000-sf, class A office in Downtown San Francisco. The Los Angeles-based law firm, which also reserved two floors for expansion, signed on for 70,000 sf in November, when asking rates in the new building were $65 per sf.

The $100-million office development is a joint venture between Cousins Properties Inc. and Myers Development Co. Cousins’ Web site lists 32,710 sf as available in the building, which would give it an 8.74% vacancy rate. Other tenants at 55 Second Street include Digital Island and The Fritz Companies.
