The company named Tom Gillette regional manager to handle day-to-day operations and manage the company's 1,100-acre, 1,349-home Bartram Springs residential project and related work at Phillips Highway (U.S. 1) and Racetrack Road in Duval County.
Steve Cissel was named development director for the Bartram job which is scheduled to break ground in June and have units available for sale in early 2003.
Gillette comes to SouthStar from Jacksonville-based Atlantic Builders where he headed that company. He is a former vice president of Atlantic Gulf Communities, developers of Julington Creek Plantation. Cissel has worked on numerous northeast Florida land development ventures.
