The Crosstown Center project being developed by Kurt Sykes and the Crosstown Associates LLC is to be developed in phases according to Meredith Baumann, spokesperson for the Boston Redevelopment Agency. Phase one of the project involves a 175-room hotel and parking garage and phase two involves 200,000 sf of office space. Boston Industry Development Financing Authority, the bond-granting agency of the BRA, will administer and oversee the bond granting process.

The financing hurdle is only the beginning for Sykes. He now has to go through the rest of the regulatory process before he can move forward on the project.
