The first Gart Sports Superstore in Wichita is scheduled to open this spring and will be located at 6959 E. 21st North.
Denver-based Gart foresees a strong base of customers among the many sports enthusiasts in Wichita and the surrounding area, says Doug Morton, president andchief executive officer of Gart.
Gart Sports Co. operates 179 stores in 25 states under the Gart Sports, Sportmart and Oshman's names.
