Colorado casinos mostly draw from the state, rather than depend on tourists, as Las Vegas does, so it hasn't been as affected by the drop in travel from Sept. 11.
Black Hawk's 21 casinos collected $43.2 million in revenues. Cripple Creek's 18 casinos range up $10.4 million in revenues and Central City's five casinos logged $4.5 million in revenues.
The state expresses revenues as adjusted gross proceeds. That is the amount wagered minus casino payouts. Colorado's 44 casinos paid $8.4 million in gaming taxes.
