Port Hires Environmental Specialist for Development

VANCOUVER, WA-Nichole Coulter is providing technical support on land use and development projects, environmental cleanup, long-range infrastructure planning and wetland mitigation to ensure port projects meet all applicable environmental regulations.

VANCOUVER, WA-The Port of Vancouver property and development department has a new staffer dedicated to seeing things from the environmental perspective. Nichole Coulter, previously employed by Boateng and Associates of Mercer Island, Wash., is the port’s new environmental specialist. She started last week.

Coulter will provide technical support on land use and development projects, environmental cleanup, long-range infrastructure, and wetland mitigation to ensure port projects meet all applicable environmental regulations. Coulter also will conduct port environmental audits, provide recommendations for environmental improvements, and prepare permit applications to ensure the port¹s compliance with local, state, and federal land-use regulations.
