R&D Building in Eastgate Mall Fetches $3.2M

SAN DIEGO-A visual arts production company has purchased a 46,639 sf, one-story research and development building on 2.73 acres in the hot Eastgate Mall office and retail area for $3.2 million.

SAN DIEGO-Eastgate Media Group Inc. has purchased a 46,639 sf, one-story research and development building on 2.73 acres in the Eastgate Mall area for $3.2 million.

The seller of the property at 5330 Eastgate Mall was BCL Inc., a San Diego-based commercial real estate company focused on the acquisition, finance, development, management and leasing of office and industrial/R&D properties in Southern California. The principals of BCL are Casey Brown, Mike Colarusso and Paul LeBeau.

Dean Acosta and Kevin Craven of Colliers International represented the seller. Marc Lipschitz of Voit Commercial represented the buyer.
