Steven Stiles, marketing director for Quentin Ltd., the owner and developer of Tech Ridge Center, tells GlobeSt.com that the road "is being striped this morning and will open this afternoon." Quentin has operations in Florida and Texas. Duhrman & Bassett Realty Group represents most of the Tech Ridge Center tenants.

Tech Ridge Center is at the southeast corner of I-35 and Parmer Lane. Stiles says the new road also makes it easier for motorists to leave the center and head west on Parmer Lane by taking the frontage road. Until now, motorists going west had to go east on Parmer and make a U-turn to go west.

When a $1.5-million bridge is completed in May, motorists will be able to drive Canyon Ridge Drive to Dell Computer Corp.'s Parmer Lane campus. The 115,000-sf Tech Ridge Center' Phase I opened in November anchored by an H-E-B grocery store. Other retailers include Radio Shack, Image Carpets & Tile, Capital Vineyards, Seattle's Best Coffee, Panda Express Deli, Subway sandwiches and New Attitudes Salon and Spa.
