The two-story facility is sited on approximately 13.5 acres near Routes 138 and 128. Among the lab specific improvements made to the building are waste water treatment systems, heavy duty HVAC and air exchange capacity, ductwork for exhaust hoods, plumbing for distilled water distribution, redundant heavy power feeds, UPS power back-up system, compressed air and gas lines, explosion-proof labs and ample clear heights. The building also has a cafeteria, training rooms, executive office and conference areas and warehouse space. There is on-site parking and two additional developable land parcels of 10 and 23.5 acres are available for future expansion.

In a released statement Mohsin Amiji, CEO of Liberty Properties, notes that his company made the investment due to the strength of the biotech and lab markets.
