The Spa will connect to Cranwell's main guestroom building --the Cranwell Mansion built in 1894--via glass walkways. Among the new spa's features are a glass enclosed atrium, sixteen treatment rooms, men's and women's spa lounges, a 5,000-sf fitness center, a café and a store.
The Cranwell Resort features 107 rooms, an 18-hole golf course, 16,000 sf of meeting and banquet space, ten kilometers of trails, and five restaurants. A group of investors, led by Daniel A. Burack and Earl Altman, acquired the property in 1993. Burack was also involved in the development of the nearby Canyon Ranch resort.
