The company is expected to be looking shortly for new office space in the high-tech corridor near the University of Central Florida in east Orange County. Madrid-based Indra currently leases an estimated 15,000 sf at 3251 Progress Drive, just off Research Parkway near the Central Florida Research Park, area brokers working the university submarket tell GlobeSt.com on condition of anonymity.

Company officials couldn't be reached at GlobeSt.com's publication deadline to learn near-future expansion plans. The incentive package was approved Feb. 26. Indra told the county its 36 employees currently earn an average $97,000 a year.

The company's products and services are for computer systems such as air defense, air traffic management, avionics, electoral balloting, electronic warfare and electronic payments. Besides Spain and the United States, Indra operates in Argentina, Chile, China, Germany, Peru, Portugal and Venzuela.
