Smaller Leases Filling Oak Valley Biz Center

SANTA ROSA, CA-Basin Street Properties, owner of the 194,000-sf Oak Valley Business Center, says it has landed two smaller tenants that highlight the diversity and stability of the local market.

SANTA ROSA, CA-Basin Street Properties has found takers for another 11,500 sf at its Oak Valley Business Center, a 194,000-sf project located at 465-475 Aviation Boulevard, near highway 101 and the Santa Rose Airport.

“These deals highlight the diversity of the Santa Rosa real estate market,” says Scott Stranzl, vice president at Basin Street Properties. “While other regions in the greater Bay Area have experienced wild swings over the past several months, the North Bay sub-market continues to experience relatively stable rates due to the wide range of industries contributing to the market, including service sector, technology, and medical companies. In addition, companies here can take advantage of the qualified labor pool and the favorable economics of the area.”

Centellax Inc., a start-up specializing in electronics for optical communications, signed a five-year lease deal for 5,500 sf of office space at the complex. The company is expected to take occupancy on February 25, 2002. Vickie Greenbaum of North Bay Commercial represented Centellax.
