The 12-year loan, arranged by M. Robert Goldman & Co through Guardian Life Insurance Co. of America, is earmarked for paying down a construction loan on the property and generating additional capital, says Robert Gladitsch, vice president for Great Neck, NY-based Goldman.
The two-story class A property is situated on an 8.39-acre lot. A former 75,000-sf baking facility, Melville-based T. Weiss redeveloped the property as office space last year. Located at 105 Maxess Rd., the building is within the Route 110 Corridor at the intersection of Maxess Road and Corporate Center Drive. Major tenants include risk and claim management services provider Crawford & Co. and Nu Horizons Electronics Corp., a distributor of high-tech components.
