Owned by Maguire Partners, Wells Fargo Center is a three-tower building complex with over 2.5 million sf of space. With one 54-story tower, one 45-story tower and one three-floor retail mall, Wells Fargo Center is the largest office building complex in Los Angeles.
Barton, Kluman & Oetting , founded in 1958, is a multi-practice law firm located in Downtown Los Angeles. Its offices are in Wells Fargo Center's north tower, which is located at 333 S. Grand Avenue. The firm was represented by Insignia/ESG Executive Managing Directors Stephen L. Bay and Clay Hammerstein. Maguire represented itself in the transaction.
Last fall, Bay and Hammerstein represented Oaktree Capital Management when it expanded its lease at Wells Fargo Center from 75,000 sf to 100,000 sf. The lease runs through April 2009 and is valued at about $5.4 million.
