Vincent Nolletti and Steve Witten of Marcus & Millichap Investment Real Estate Services of New Haven were the sole brokers in the sale. Charles Rubenstein, an attorney in New York City assisted the sellers in the transaction, while David Frankel, a New Jersey-based attorney, represented the buyers.

The complex includes the four-story masonry structure that was originally built in 1977 and renovated in 1998. Meriden East Apartments contains 32 one-bedroom units and 34 two-bedroom apartments. One-bedrooms are 650 sf and two-bedroom units total 850 sf each. Among the amenities at the property are full garages with internal entrances for 25 vehicles; a fitness center and a "smart card"-operated laundry facility.
