The property, which used to be a county landfill, sits just north of Interstate 90 near Eastgate Way Southeast and 160th Avenue Southeast. It is part of nearly acres that Boeing wants the city to rezone for office use, and creating a park has been made part of the company's proposal. Boeing currently owns roughly 1 million sf of light industrial space in that area. The rezone would allow the company to develop up to 550,000 more sf of office space on the site.
