Houses Go On Sale in Massive Development Area

LONDON-Copthorn Homes and Land Securities have unveiled their part in one of the UK's most ambitious regeneration projects. It's 22 sq miles of development and, when complete, Kent Thameside will rival the M4 Corridor in scale, vision and innovation.

LONDON-The first houses have gone on sale at the heart of one of the biggest regeneration projects the South of England has ever seen. Luxury three and four bedroom family homes, starting from £185,000 ($263,000) for a three-bedroom house and £350,000 ($497,000) for a four-bedroom house, are now available for sale at Waterstone Park in Stone, north Kent. A joint venture by Copthorn Homes and Land Securities, Waterstone Park consists of 161 one to four-bedroom houses and apartments.

Waterstone is part of Kent Thameside. Kent aims to emulate the success of the long established London/Berkshire M4 Corridor of industry, commerce and transport provisions. Covering 22 sq miles across the boroughs of Dartford and Gravesend, 14 million sf of existing space will be transformed by various commercial, retail and leisure projects to provide 30,000 new homes, 60,000 new jobs and a pioneering public transport system.
