North Natomas Place is located on a two-acre plot on the northwest corner of Truxel Road and Natomas Crossing. The shopping center is expected to cost a total of $5 million to build and will consist of 25,000-sf of stores plus two pad buildings.
The project might be completed by late spring and is already more than half leased. Some of its tenants include a beauty salon, a wine store and a cellular communications store. Chris Campbell of CB Richard Ellis is handling leasing activity for the shopping center.
North Natomas Place was developed by Mike O'Connell, a partner in O'Connell-Hughes Commercial Properties.
Natomas Park is the single largest development in North Natomas and is expected to provide the majority of new homes and accompanying job creation within the city of Sacramento over the next five years. At build-out, the 1,250-acre mixed-use community will have 3,900 single-family homes, 66-acres of multi-family housing, shopping center and neighborhood commercial sites, a 200-acre regional park, and additional recreational and civic amenities.
