DRCOG Lauds 'Blueprint Denver' for Metro Vision

DENVER-The growth plan devised by the city's public works department and community planning and development agency divides the city into "areas of stability" and "areas of change.

DENVER-The Denver Regional Council of Government chose ”Blueprint Denver” as the first winner of its new Metro Vision Awards Program. The city’s public works department and community planning and development agency crafted the growth management strategy in cooperation with thousands of Denver residents.

Blueprint Denver addresses growth and transportation issues in Denver from now through 2020. Over the next 18 years, Denver’s population is expected to grow by 132,000 residents.

Blueprint Denver divides the city into “areas of stability” and “areas of change.”
