Dell Kicks In Another 80,000 SF to Sublease Market

AUSTIN-Dell Computer today has confirmed it's looking for tenants for 240,000 sf of leased space instead of 160,000 sf situated in the southwest submarket. As office space is taken, the plan is to relocate workers to Dell's Round Rock or Parmer campuses.

AUSTIN-Dell Computer Corp. is marketing two buildings, totaling 240,000 sf, leased in the southwest submarket. Last week, Dell said the 160,000-sf Las Cimas III was on the sublease market and acknowledged today that the 80,000-sf Las Cimas II also is on the market. Endeavor Real Estate Group is hawking the space for Dell.

Dell moved the offices of its top executives and other corporate functions to the 80,000-sf Las Cimas II building in 2000 as fast growth ate up space at its Round Rock and Parmer Lane campuses. It also leased the neighboring Las Cimas III, which recently was completed.
