Nine New York Big Kmart's Face Closure

GREATER NEW YORK-Kmart Corp. today released a hit list of 284 stores that will close as part of its initial Chapter 11 financial objectives review. Nine New York Big Kmart stores are affected.

GREATER NEW YORK-New York has only nine stores on Kmart’s list of 284 store closures, released today. The stores are being shut down as part of the cash-strapped retailer’s initial Chapter 11 financial objectives review. The properties, listed below, are all Big Kmart stores.

  • 998 Broadway, Buffalo
  • 3901 Vineyard, Dr., Dunkirk
  • 258-01 Union Turnpike, Glen Oaks
  • 5770 S. Transit Rd., Lockport
  • 847 Pelham Parkway, Pelham Manor
  • 5949 Taberg Rd., Rome
  • 79 Weibel Ave., Saratoga Springs
  • 77 Green Acres Rd., South Valley Stream
  • 8150 Transit Rd., Williamsville
