Guthrie has more than 25 years of real estate experience and was executive vice president with both American Continental Properties and Acadia Realty Trust. During his 15-year tenure with American Continental Properties, he was responsible for the development of more than 1.6 million sf of shopping centers as well as the acquisition and redevelopment of 10 centers totaling 1.3 million sf of retail space. His involvement also included the leasing and management of more than million sf of the firm's retail and office assets in six states, Aries, Deitch & Endelson officials say.

While with Acadia Realty Trust, he directed operations for a portfolio comprising three million sf of retail and office space in nine states. Guthrie also worked on the retailer's side of the business as senior director of real estate for the Waldbaum's division of Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company (A&P), as well as other national retailers.
