When completed, the £250 million ($356 million) scheme will total more than 600,000 sf of office accommodation across a 23-acre site. It is currently the largest office development currently underway in Hertfordshire.
The first phase, designed by Fletcher Priest Architects, comprises 100,000 sf of office accommodation in addition to a 40,000 sf health and leisure club including a bar.
Funded by Morley Fund Managers and developed by Stanhope, the first phase is scheduled to be ready for occupation by mid-2002.
The development was granted detailed planning consent in September 2001 and has been underway on site since mid-autumn. Arup Engineers will be working alongside construction managers Mace to deliver the project while the scheme will be marketed by property consultants FPDSavills and Freeth Melhuish.
