Fortune 500 Companies Settle on Spaces in BWI Airport

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD-Although deal terms are kept hush-hush, two Fortune 500 companies sign leases for space totaling 66,00 sf in Class A buildings at 1304 Concourse Drive and 201 National Business Parkway.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD-Owner of the newly completed Airport Square XVIII at 1304 Concourse Drive in Lithicum and 201 National Business Parkway in Annapolis Junction, Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT), is not naming names but the company has secured leases for space by two Fortune 500 companies in the structures. Both are Class A office buildings near the Baltimore/Washington International Airport, and offer 105,000 sf and 118,000 sf, respectively.

“The asking rents for the buildings are $25.50 per-sf in both cases,” COPT asset manager Judd Williams shares with GlobeSt.com. Specific terms of the leases are not being made available. However, an unnamed Fortune 500 firm will take on a little more than 54,000 sf at Concourse and another Fortune 500 company will move into over 12,000 sf of office space in the four-story National Business Park building, which is now leased to full capacity. COPT is the predominant owner and operator of commercial office properties in the BWI Airport market.
