SAN DIEGO-Lease agreements have been signed for more than 34,000 sf in the Rolando Plaza Shopping Center at 6411-6535 University Ave.

The new tenants will fill anchor space formerly occupied by Albertson’s Supermarket and Cal Stores. Save-A-Lot Foods, a discount grocery store, signed a 10-year, $2.1 million lease for 15,000 sf. Save-A-Lot Foods is a division of Supervalu, the 10th largest supermarket retailer in the U.S. with more than 950 stores nationwide.

The Salvation Army, a well-known national nonprofit organization with 1,000 stores in the U. S., also signed a 5-year, $1 million lease for 12,000 sf.
