It has sent Bath & North East Somerset Council revisions to its plans, which address issues raised at meetings in September 2001. In the last six months, the Southgate developers commissioned transport interchange architect Wilkinson Eyre to conduct further design work on the transport interchange. As a result, refinements to the proposed interchange at Bath Spa Station create a new pedestrian plaza between the bus and rail stations.
B&NES expects to consider the revised proposals in May. The programme for development is projected to begin in Spring 2003.
