Economic Development Consultants Merge

AUSTIN-Angelos Angelou and Rick Thrasher are rolling their firms into one, AngelouEconomics. Thrasher becomes managing director while Austin's favorite prognosticator, Angelou, is CEO.

AUSTIN-Two Austin-based economic development consulting firms have merged operations. As a results Angelou Economics Advisors and Thrasher & Associates will operate under the name AngelouEconomics. Rick Thrasher, president of the firm that has borne his name, becomes managing director of the new firm’s economic development division. Angelos Angelou, founder of the firm that bears his name, is CEO of the merged company.

Angelou, through his work at the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and his firm, has been a key player in economic development efforts in the Austin area. Members of the business community, especially those in real estate, eagerly anticipate his annual economic forecasts.
