HuntGregory to Build 120 Units in Shingle Creek

BROOKLYN CENTER, MN-Construction will begin this spring on the 120-unit multifamily town home and row house project, where units will sell for $175,000 to $250,000. A small retail center also will be part of the project.

BROOKLYN CENTER, MN-The Brooklyn Center Economic Development Agency is working with HuntGregory on Auburn Woods, a project involving 120 units of attached urban row houses and detached town homes and twin homes on the property located justwest of Zane Avenue and south of Shingle Creek. These new housing units will range in value from $175,000 to $250,000 and provide a housing niche not currently available in Brooklyn Park.

The city, which is making some major improvements to the Single Creek area, will need to acquire several homes, a small retail center and some office space before the second phase of the town-home development can move forward.
